Ikagai is a japanese concept that refers to the art of finding one’s purpose and goal in life.
It's about balancing passion, talent and personal values with the needs of society.
The video says that through Ikagai one can find greater motivation and commitment in one’s work as well as better satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment (change mindset and find flow state). So life is more balanced and fulfilling.
The Ikigai process is represented by a diagram, four circles cross. Each one represents what you like, what you are good at, what you can be paid for and what society needs.
At the intersection of circles, we find passion, profession, mission and vocation. And in the center of the diagram where all zones intersect it's Ikigai.
