Personal actions :

As an athlete, I pay attention to my environmental footprint by reducing the waste I generate. For example, I always try to bring my own bottle to avoid buying plastic bottles, which helps reduce pollution.

Club initiatives :

My club has already implemented several environmental initiatives. For example, they hand out reusable cups at each game, which must be returned at the end to avoid pollution from disposable cups. They also encourage supporters to use public transport or carpooling by indicating which bus routes to take, thereby reducing CO2 emissions from travel.

Challenges and opportunities :

One of the challenges for my club, as for many others, is to convince all supporters and team members to adopt more sustainable habits in their daily lives. For example, some are not always ready to change their transportation habits. However, it also represents a great opportunity: by raising awareness of these initiatives among players and supporters, we could create a true culture of sustainability within the club.

Future goals :

My personal goal would be to get even more involved in reducing my waste by ensuring I no longer use disposable products during my training sessions or matches. For my club I have no idea.
