Some of you may be wondering what this evaluation will look like: you will have to record yourself answering an audio press interview question. You will have 6 audios interviews to choose from, and you must pick 3.
Here are the video recording instructions. They will also be available in file format for download in the assessment Moodle area.
Video recording: simulating a press conference
Task instructions:
You will create a press conference simulation by responding to questions from a journalist. Follow the steps below to complete your task:
1. Access in Moodle the 6 interviewers ’audio questions.
• Listen to all six questions carefully.2. Select your questions
• Choose three questions that you feel confident answering.
3. Record your press conference
• Create an audio recording simulating a press conference
• Include the selected audio questions and your answers within the same recording.
• Ensure the journalist’s question is played before each of your responses.
4. Camera and settings
• Face the camera throughout the recording.
• You can sit or stand, but your hands and upper body must be visible in the video.
• Choose a well-lit and quiet environment for your recording to ensure good video and audio quality.
5. Submit your recording
• Save your recording as a video file.
• To share your video, you will need to upload it to the Pod platform, and then copy the link and paste it into the text area provided in the "Devoir" activity before the deadline set for January 17. Once you pasted the link, don’t forget to validate your submission.

Evaluation criteria
Your performance will be evaluated based on the following:
- Use of vocabulary
· Topic-specific vocabulary and idiomatic expression (provided in lessons)
- Sentence structure
· Grammar in forming sentences.
- Expression
· Clarity and accuracy of pronunciation.
