    Welcome to our lesson on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Sports! By the end of this module, you will be able to:

    • Identify the 17 SDGs set by the United Nations and their importance in creating a sustainable future.
    • Analyze the role of Sports in SDGs
    • Assess how you or your sports club contributions to SDGs.
    • Autonomous class session to complete from  27/03 to 02/04

      Lesson access and completion

      • Lesson material release: Every thursday, new lesson content will be made available for you to access.
      • Study period: You have from thursday until wednesday,(next week) to work through the material at your own pace.

      2. Select one SDG that interests you.

      3.Conduct research on how sports contribute to achieving your chosen SDGs.

      4. Write a report summarizing your findings.

       Include:

      • A brief introduction to the chosen SDG
      • Examples of how sports are contributing to this goal
      • The impact and potential of sports in addressing this SDG

      Remember to use reliable sources for your research and provide specific, concrete examples in your report.

      5. Personal or club reflection:

      • If you or your sports club are already contributing to any SDG, describe these efforts.
      • If not currently involved, identify which of the 17 SDGs you or your club could realistically take action on.
      • Explain why you chose this SDG and suggest potential actions or initiatives.

            6. Conclusion:

      • Summarize the importance of sports in achieving SDGs
      • Reflect on the potential for individual and club-level contributions to these global goals
