- When should I apply for a double degree?
Students enter the double degree program in France after completing their 7th semester in Brazil. They usually apply one year in advance, during semesters S5/S6.
- What level of French is required?
A B1 level is formally required. However, students are strongly advised to reach B2 level to ensure that language difficulties do not affect their studies.
- Are there any English language requirements?
To obtain the French engineering degree, students are legally required to demonstrate at least a B2 level in English, although a C1 level is recommended. It is therefore advisable to already have a good command of English before entering the program.
- Is it difficult to find an internship?
French companies are accustomed to hosting engineering students for their mandatory internships. All INSA schools have networks of partner companies, and students receive support with their CVs and cover letters. Various events are also organized by each school to help students find an internship, such as internship speed-dating sessions, career fairs, and meetings with companies.
- Can I apply to any INSA school?
Applicants are encouraged to provide a ranked list of three INSA schools in their application. They should carefully review the programs offered by each INSA school and apply only to programs for which they meet all the prerequisites for the 4th-year courses.
